Day 1: Welcome to our capital

Welcome to Oslo! Discover Norway’s rapidly growing capital, which people still consider a small city. That is helped by the fact that mountains and sea surround it. 

Stroll through the city center that’s ideal for walking. Discover outlying neighborhoods—filled with charm and character— that are easily accessible by public transportation. Then, jump on a tram, train, or bus and explore all of what Oslo has to offer.

Day 2: Walk around with a local

A local insight of Oslo awaits! After your Norwegian breakfast, our local expert will meet you at the hotel and take you for a walk. Get ready for a local insight to Oslo, where you will visit hidden gems blended with more famous sights. Enjoy local secrets, stories, and places not often shared with tourists. 

Relish an afternoon of exploring what the green city has to offer.

Day 3: Take the scenic route

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before your train to Åndalsnes. Take in the views on one of the most scenic train routes in Europe: Raumabanen. On arrival in Åndalsnes, pick up your rental car and get on the road. Enjoy the spectacular scenery of Trollveggen and the Trollstigen road. Make sure to stop for pictures! Your destination is the unique Juvet Landscape Hotel in Valldal. This village off the beaten path is perfect for an adventure!

Day 4: Nature adventure in Valldal

Explore nature in Valldal. The local’s call this place “Adventure Valley”. This area is an eldorado for exploring nature-based experiences. Join an experienced guide for a safe and memorable experience. 

Choose a calm kayaking or hiking trip if you want to take in nature at your own pace. More adventurous people might try canyoning or rafting. Then, get close to the mountain on a climbing and caving tour.

Day 5: Hydropower history

Spend today exploring at your own pace. Take a scenic trip to Tafjord, located at the end of the fjord. Immerse yourself in nature’s force at the Power and avalanche centre, and learn about how Tafjord village developed by the impact of the hydropower.

Enjoy a relaxed evening at your hotel. Treat yourself to a taste of the famous local strawberries. Make the most of your last night by visiting the spa. 

Day 6: Up to the mountains

Enjoy the last morning with the forest view from your window. Take in another scenic drive toda. You’ll stop in the remote fjord village of Sunndalsøra. Then, explore the spectacular waterfalls and views. Learn about the village’s history at the local museum.

Head up the mountains to Innerdalen, which is often called Norway’s most beautiful valley! Leave your car and hike to the remote cabins called Rennedølsetra. Enjoy a traditional Norwegian dinner, and experience the authentic cabin life!

Day 7: Hike with a local

Wake up to fresh mountain air! Say hello to the cows grazing outside. Renndølsetra has been a summer farm since 1740 and you will feel like stepping back in time.

Innedalen is a great place to go hiking. Today, you will have a local guide to show you around. Learn about the mountains and Norwegian people’s favourite pastimes. 

Enjoy a bath in the fresh and cold water just outside the cabin before dinner. 

Day 8: Breathe the fresh air and explore on your own

Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere in the mountains. This last day is yours to fill as you like. Feel free to sit and enjoy the view all day. Get the best views from the top of Innerdalstårnet. At 4763 feet above sea level, the mountain rises like a church spire above the valley.

The mountains are where Norwegians are most sociable, so take your chance to chat with them! Maybe try your luck at fishing. Explore the water by boat.

Day 9: Return on the scenic route

Wake up and take in your last morning at the mountain cabin. Maybe a morning dip in the lake will wake you up? Hit the trails and hike back to your car. Enjoy the scenery on your drive back to Åndalsnes, and take some time to explore the village. Ride the cable car to the top for an amazing panoramic view.

Relax and enjoy the train ride back to Oslo.

Day 10: Pack up your memories

Enjoy your last moments in this dynamic city with a leisurely breakfast, neighbourhood stroll, and perhaps a little shopping before you head to the airport for departure.

This is the costs in its current iteration. As we modify it for you, the costs will be dependent on how many people join, which hotels we stay in, and a host of other factors. We are super transparent of how this all works, and will be showing you exactly where your money will go!
