Day 2: GO DISCOVER old and modern Stavanger
A city needs to be explored! The best way is together with a local expert! The expert will take you through the old town and end with a modern view of the city. Let us know your interests, and we will tailor your adventure. OR, just follow your new local friend!
Make sure to get recommendations of a good restaurant for the evening!
Day 3: RISE and SHINE HIKE of Pulpit Rock
Today is an early start! Let’s beat the crowd and hit the road early for an early morning hike of the famous Pulpit Rock! Then, cross by ferry, and admire the beautiful Lysefjorden. The hike is a couple of hours each way. On the top, the view over Lysefjorden is to be stored in the memory vault!
Afterward, continue on and drive to Byrkjedal for the night.
Day 4: EXPLORE local traditions
Spend the day at Byrkjedal and explore the local traditions. A lot can be seen and enjoyed on-site, but we recommend getting in the car to explore the surroundings further!
Day 5: DRAMATIC DRIVE to Sogndalstrand
No trip in Norway is complete without a stunning drive! Today, you’ll pass through Gloppedalsura and Jøssingfjorden. Both locations are part of the Magma Geopark. The drives are through narrow roads, steep mountainsides, and stunning views. In Jøssingfjord, make sure you stop to see the houses under the mountain cliff!
Once you reach Sogndalstrand, you can feel your shoulders dropping down. The atmosphere is slow and gentle. Spend the evening over first-class food, reflecting on what you just experienced today!
Day 6: GO SLOW in Sogndalstrand
Sogndalstrand has a lot to offer. It’s history, culture and it is its own living museum. Borrow a bike and go explore. Why not go for a swim? Either in the sea, river, or lake? You can also test your golfing skills in the 6-hole golfing course! Make sure to be inspired in the local gallery next door. OR go nostalgic in the old grocery store. Check out more things to do in Sogndalstrand here.
In the evening, stroll down to the pier and see the fish jumping as the sun is setting.
Day 7: CYCLE to a Living Museum
Cycle through small settlements, industries along the sea on narrow roads. Stop as you want, and admire the sea view. Finally, reach Nesvåg, and Johnny’s Sea- and Motor Museum. A warm welcome awaits you. It is a living museum, where Johnny also works. He has restored more than 100 boat engines, other maritime equipment and even rebuilt an old fishing home from 1883!
Take your time before slowly peddling back to Sogndalstrand!
Day 8: DRIVE to Stavanger and Departure
It is time to bid goodbye to Sogndalstrand and hit the road. The end of your slow adventure has arrived. Make your way to Stavanger and the ferry, and cruise on to Denmark and Europe.

How much would this cost?
Kr. 20300per person
The fine print. This is per person, and the economies of scale work, so it tends to get cheaper as you get more people to join in.
This is the costs in its current iteration. As we modify it for you, the costs will be dependent on how many people join, which hotels we stay in, and a host of other factors. We are super transparent of how this all works, and will be showing you exactly where your money will go!
This includes of course
Accommodation w/breakfast, three dinners, one lunch, silent whale watching, ferry tickets, private transfers to and from the ferry terminal in Senja, 3-hour northern lights snowshoeing w/hot drinks and snacks, guided kayak tour, cheese plate at Lofoten Gårdsysteri, museum entrances
