Kenneth and Sachi are the heart and soul of World Sea Explorers, a warm, family‑run yachting company tucked into the wild beauty of Arctic Norway. Since launching in 2019, they’ve spun their dream into reality aboard their elegant ice-class sailing vessel, Stella Oceana. 

Kenneth, the sea captain, is a navigator through and through. With more than 30 years of experience — even a record-breaking, engine-free journey from Tromsø to Kristiansand — he brings not just skill, but a profound respect for the ocean. Raised in a fishing-and-farming family in the Arctic, he knows these fjords like old friends. 

Sachi, operations manager and co‑spirit of the company, ensures every detail of a voyage is infused with soul. She handles everything from guest inquiries to planning excursions, cooking and serving meals, and offering gentle guidance. 

Fluent in English, Japanese, Norwegian, and a bit of Spanish, she welcomes people from all walks of life. And speaking softly but firmly, she champions marine conservation at every turn. 

Together, Kenneth and Sachi have created more than a luxury yacht experience. They’ve built a sanctuary where just eight guests travel in deep comfort and intimacy. 

They navigate remote Arctic fjords, share meals made with locally sourced fish, and guide guests to moments of real wonder, whether under the midnight sun or dancing northern lights. 

But their mission goes deeper than travel. For Kenneth and Sachi, each voyage is a quiet lesson in stewardship. Their commitment to sustainability, conservation, and local culture shapes every choice they make.
